Effective date: July 21, 2026
Bills By Paycheck ("the App") is built on a simple principle: your financial plan belongs to you. This policy explains what data the App does and does not collect, and how the one third-party service it uses — advertising — works.
We do not collect your name, email address, financial account numbers, bank credentials, bill amounts, balances, or any other content you enter into the App. There is no user account, login, or sign-up. We have no server or database of user financial data, so there is nothing for us to access, sell, or lose in a breach.
Your bills, paychecks, expenses, savings goals, and settings are stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, that data syncs between your own devices through Apple's iCloud service, under your Apple ID and Apple's own privacy terms. If you use Household Sharing, the same data is shared directly, device to device, with the partner you invite, on a read-only basis. We never receive a copy of it.
Unless you've made the one-time purchase to remove ads, the App displays ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may automatically collect information such as your device's advertising identifier, general device information (model, OS version, language), approximate location derived from IP address, and ad interaction data (impressions, clicks). On iOS, the App requests your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before any identifier is used for tracking across apps; you can allow or decline this at any time in your device's Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking.
This advertising data is collected and processed by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. You can review or adjust your ad personalization settings at adssettings.google.com.
The ad-removal purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store's in-app purchase system. We never see or store your payment information; that is handled under Apple's own privacy policy.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Because the App itself collects no personal data, this is primarily relevant to the third-party advertising described above.
Since we do not hold your data on any server, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on your behalf. Deleting the App removes its local data from your device; iCloud data is removed by turning off iCloud for the App in Settings and deleting the App's data from iCloud storage.
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above and post the new version at this same address.
